Surgical Fees definition

Surgical Fees means all of the fees payable to Surgeon(s) for the operations performed including the surgeon's visits to the patient, pre- surgical assessment and normal post-surgical care up to a maximum of 91 days from the date of operation or discharge from hospital
Surgical Fees means fees charged by the hospital, doctors, surgeons, anesthetists and operating theatre but excluding the cost of room and board and any non-medical charges such as but not limited to meals and room charges incurred during Confinement in a Hospital up to the maximum Sum Insured stated in the Schedule. “Terrorist” or “Member of a Terrorist Organization” means any person who commits, or attempts to commit, a Terrorist Act or who participates in or facilitates the commission of a Terrorist Act and/or is verified or recognized or designated by any government or authority or committee as a terrorist.
Surgical Fees means the fees payable to Surgeon(s) as provided for in this Policy for the operations performed in respect of a covered Disability including his fees for two pre-surgical assessments.

Examples of Surgical Fees in a sentence

  • In addition to the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit payable above, a Surgical Benefit which includes Operating Room Charges, Anesthetist’s Charges and the actual Surgical Fees reasonably and customarily charged by a qualified Surgeon to perform the operation or surgery in the Hospital, shall be paid in an amount equal to the sum actually charged for such surgical operation provided however that the maximum benefit payable shall not exceed the amount payable under the Schedule of Benefits.

  • For surgery procedures performed in private hospitals, the reimbursable amount is based on a percentage of the compensation limit as stated in the Schedule of Surgical Fees in the policy.

  • You may obtain a copy of the Schedule of Surgical Fees from the Insurance Company.

  • If the Insured Member is confined in a Singapore Restructured Hospital, the maximum benefit payable for all surgical operations performed for Any One Disability will not be subject to the Schedule of Surgical Operations and must not exceed the maximum Surgical Fees specified in the Benefit Schedule.

Surgical Fees means the cost of conducting an Emergency Surgical Operation as defined herein. “Terrorist” or “Member of a Terrorist Organization” means any person who commits, or attempts to commit, a Terrorist Act or who participates in or facilitates the commission of a Terrorist Act and/or is verified or recognized or designated by any government or authority or committee as a terrorist.

Related to Surgical Fees

  • School Fees means the money payable by the Parent/s to the School in connection with a Student’s education, excluding any Enrolment Fee, Deposit or Additional Fees.

  • Professional Fees means amounts billed or to be billed to a client for legal services provided or to be provided to the client by the lawyer or the lawyer’s firm;

  • Ambulatory surgical center means any public or private State licensed and approved (whenever required by law) establishment with an organized medical staff of Physicians, with permanent facilities that are equipped and operated primarily for the purpose of performing Surgical Procedures, with continuous Physician services and registered professional nursing service whenever a patient is in the facility, and which does not provide service or other accommodations for patients to stay overnight.

  • Non-Administrator Ambulatory Surgical Facility means an Ambulatory Surgical Facility which does not meet the definition of an Administrator Ambulatory Surgical Facility.

  • Ambulatory surgical facility means a facility that:

  • Professional Fee Amount means the aggregate amount of Professional Fee Claims and other unpaid fees and expenses that Professionals estimate they have incurred or will incur in rendering services to the Debtors prior to and as of the Confirmation Date, which estimates Professionals shall deliver to the Debtors as set forth in Article II.B of the Plan.

  • Medical Expenses means those expenses that an Insured Person has necessarily and actually incurred for medical treatment on account of Illness or Accident on the advice of a Medical Practitioner, as long as these are no more than would have been payable if the Insured Person had not been insured and no more than other hospitals or doctors in the same locality would have charged for the same medical treatment.

  • Clinic means a health facility providing health care services to individuals associated with a college or university.

  • Legal Fees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8(b) of the Subscription Agreement;

  • Services Fees means the agreed upon fees in an Order for the Services Offerings.

  • Local anesthesia means the elimination of sensation, especially pain, in one part of the body by the topical application or regional injection of a drug.

  • Class Counsel Fees means the fees of Class Counsel, and any applicable taxes or charges thereon, including any amounts payable as a result of the Settlement Agreement by Class Counsel or the Settlement Class Members to any other body or Person, including the Fonds d’aide aux actions collectives in Quebec.

  • Outpatient hospital services means preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, observation, rehabilitation, or palliative services provided to an outpatient by or under the direction of a physician, dentist, or other practitioner by an institution that:

  • Medical physicist means a person trained in evaluating the performance of mammography equipment and facility quality assurance programs and who meets the qualifications for a medical physicist set forth in 41.6(3)“c.”

  • Routine patient care costs means Covered Medical Expenses which are typically provided absent a clinical trial and not otherwise excluded under the Policy. Routine patient care costs do not include:

  • Brachytherapy means a method of radiation therapy in which sealed sources are utilized to deliver a radiation dose at a distance of up to a few centimeters, by surface, intracavitary, or interstitial application.

  • Excluded Services has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a).

  • Inpatient hospital services means any health care service provided to a patient who has been admitted to a hospital and is required to remain in that hospital overnight, but does not include any secure forensic mental health services;

  • Specialized services means any program or service designed and operated to serve primarily individuals with developmental disabilities, including a program or service provided by an entity licensed or certified by the department. If there is a question as to whether a provider or entity under contract with a provider is providing specialized services, the provider or contract entity may request that the director of the department make a determination. The director's determination is final.

  • Goods/Services means the goods and/or services detailed in the Purchase Order issued by Versuni Supplier; “Intellectual Property Rights” (or “IPR”) means all intellectual property rights of any nature applied for or existing anywhere in the world for their full term and together with any revivals, renewals or extensions. “Purchase Order” means the Versuni purchase order issued by Versuni to procure Goods/Services from the Supplier, to which these conditions are attached by reference;;

  • Nurse-midwife means a registered nurse who has graduated from a program of study designed to prepare registered nurses for advanced practice as nurse-midwives.

  • Class Counsel Fees Payment and “Class Counsel Litigation Expenses Payment” mean the amounts allocated to Class Counsel for reimbursement of reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, respectively, incurred to prosecute the Action.

  • Stray radiation means the sum of leakage and scattered radiation.

  • Annual Fees means the annual fees charged by the Trustee for services provided as the trustee and paying agent under the Indenture.

  • Hospital pharmacist means an Iowa-licensed pharmacist who meets the requirements for participating in a hospital practice protocol as determined by the hospital’s P&T committee.

  • Travel Expenses means any costs incurred by Licensor associated with the transportation, storage or lodging of equipment, supplies, Licensor employees and other items necessary for business use from Licensor headquarters to Licensee’s facilities. Travel expenses may include, but are not limited to airfare, hotel costs, and meals if applicable. Any travel expenses paid by the Licensee shall be paid at allowable government travel rates consistent with Management Directive 230.10, unless otherwise first approved by the Licensee’s authorized representative.
