Suspension with pay definition

Suspension with pay means a forced paid leave of absence.
Suspension with pay means when a support employee is relieved of their duties without any loss of pay or benefits pending a hearing before the Disciplinary Suspension, Demotion, Termination or Nonrenewal Review Committee (“Review Committee”) or pending an investigation of alleged employee misconduct.
Suspension with pay means the placement of an employee on suspension while continuing in pay status for internal investigatory purposes or pending completion of the notice and response procedures of adverse action.

Examples of Suspension with pay in a sentence

  • Suspension with pay stoppage*1 shall be possible in any case if the temporary agency worker may reasonably be deemed to have failed to fulfil his obligations, according to objective criteria, and the failure results in the termination of the placement.

  • Suspension with pay under this clause will not, however, apply to employees who do not hold themselves available for work.
