System Operator definition

System Operator means the person who is the system operator under the Act;
System Operator has the meaning given to it in section 5 of the Act;
System Operator means the Independent Electricity System Operator of Ontario established under Part II of the Electricity Act, and its successors, acting pursuant to its authority to make, administer and enforce the IESO Market Rules.

  • For the repayment of amounts advanced to the Affected System Operator for System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades, the Interconnection Customer and Affected System Operator shall enter into an agreement that provides for such repayment, but only if responsibility for the cost of such System Upgrade Facilities is not to be allocated in accordance with Attachment S of the ISO OATT.

System Operator means one of the several organizations that control energy in California. System operators include, but are not limited to, the California Independent System Operator, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Imperial Irrigation District, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
