Taking Over definition

Taking Over means the Employer’s written acceptance of the Facilities under the Contract, after successful Trial – Operation for the specified period in accordance with the Contract, as provided in GCC Sub-Clause 20.1.5.
Taking Over means the Employers’ written acceptance of the Facilities under the Contract, after successful Operation and acceptance of the facilities by the Employer.
Taking Over means the Owner’s written acceptance of the Works performed under the Contract, after successful commissioning/ completion of Performance and Guarantee Tests, as specified in the accompanying Technical Specifications or otherwise agreed in the Contract and receipt of charging permission upon Work Completion Report (WCR) accepted by the competent authority.

  • Each item of the Equipment shall become the property of the Employer upon the issue or deemed issue (as the case may be) of the Taking-Over Certificate by the Engineer in accordance with sub-clause 10.1 [Taking Over of the Works and Sections].

  • Trial operation shall not constitute a taking-over under clause 10 [Employer's Taking Over].

  • All these Laws shall, in respect of the Works and each Section, be those prevailing when the Works or Section are taken over by the Employer under clause 10 [Employer's Taking Over].


More Definitions of Taking Over
