Tangata Whenua definition

Tangata Whenua means Te Hapu o Ngati Wheke (Rapaki), Te Runanga o Koukourarata and Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu.
Tangata Whenua means those people of Maori descent whose ancestral tribal roots are of the Nelson-Tasman region,
