TapSnap Franchise definition

TapSnap Franchise or “the Business” means the business of operating a TapSnap and using the Marks and System, along with other assistance provided by Franchisor.

  • Franchise means the initial authorization, or renewal thereof, issued by the Franchising Authority, whether such authorization is designated as a franchise, agreement, permit, license, resolution, contract, certificate, ordinance or otherwise, which authorizes the construction and operation of the Cable System.

  • Subfranchisor means a person who is granted a master franchise.

  • License means any certificate, license, permit or grant of permission required by the laws of this state, its political subdivisions or instrumentalities as a condition for the lawful practice of any occupation, employment, trade, vocation, business, or profession. Provided, however, that "license" shall not, for the purposes of this article, include any license or permit to own, possess, carry, or fire any explosive, pistol, handgun, rifle, shotgun, or other firearm.

  • Franchisor means a person who grants a franchise or master franchise, or an affiliate of such a person. Franchisor includes a subfranchisor with regard to its relationship with a franchisee, unless stated otherwise in this section.

  • Franchise Agreements means (a) the Franchise Agreements set forth on Part IV of Schedule 4.01(p) hereto, and (b) any Franchise Agreement in respect of a Borrowing Base Asset entered into after the Closing Date in compliance with Section 5.01(r).

  • Property management system means the Contractor’s system or systems for managing and controlling Government property.

  • New Franchise Agreement means the franchise license agreement to be entered into between Buyer and the Franchisor, granting to Buyer a franchise to operate the Hotel under the Brand on and after the Closing Date.

  • Franchisee means a person to whom a franchise is granted. Franchisee includes the following:

  • Franchise Fee means a direct or indirect payment to purchase or operate a franchise. Franchise fee does not include any of the following:

  • Transient guest means a natural person staying less than 30 consecutive days.

  • operating licence means an authorisation granted by the competent licensing authority to an undertaking, permitting it to provide air services as stated in the operating licence;

  • Licensing means any grant of rights to distribute the qualified motion picture, in whole or in part.

  • Liquor means beverages that are intended for human consumption containing over 1% alcohol by volume (e.g., spirits, wine, liqueur, coolers, cider or beer).

  • Dining club license means a license issued in accordance with Chapter 5, Retail

  • KDOT means the Kansas Department of Transportation, an agency of the state of Kansas, with its principal place of business located at 700 SW Harrison Street, Topeka, KS, 66603- 3745.

  • Franchise Area means the present legal boundaries of the City as of the Effective Date, and shall also include any additions thereto, by annexation or other legal means as provided in this Agreement.

  • Alcoholic beverage means a beverage that:

  • Outer clothing means clothing that is not worn next to the skin or immediately over a garment that is being worn as underwear but ‘outer clothing’ includes hats; shoes; boots; gloves and scarves.

  • Retail marijuana store means an entity licensed to purchase Retail Marijuana from a Retail Marijuana Cultivation Facility and to purchase Retail Marijuana Product from a Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturing Facility and to sell Retail Marijuana and Retail Marijuana Product to consumers.

  • business vertical means a distinguishable component of an enterprise that is engaged in the supply of individual goods or services or a group of related goods or services which is subject to risks and returns that are different from those of the other business verticals.

  • Liquor store means a retailer, as defined in section 111 of the Michigan liquor control code of 1998, 1998 PA 58, MCL 436.1111, that is exclusively or primarily engaged in the sale of alcoholic liquor. The term does not include a retailer that is a retail food store.

  • Alcoholic beverages means beverages that are suitable for human consumption and contain one-half of one percent or more of alcohol by volume.

  • Driver license means a license that is issued by a state to

  • Host means any plant or animal on or in which another lives for nourishment, development, or protection.

  • Business License means a license issued by the Department to a medical marijuana dispensary, grower, processor, testing laboratory, or transporter.

  • Registry Operator Approval means the receipt of each of the following: (A) the affirmative approval of the Applicable Registry Operators whose payments to ICANN accounted for two-­‐thirds of the total amount of fees (converted to U.S. dollars, if applicable, at the prevailing exchange rate published the prior day in the U.S. Edition of the Wall Street Journal for the date such calculation is made by ICANN) paid to ICANN by all the Applicable Registry Operators during the immediately previous calendar year pursuant to the Applicable Registry Agreements, and (B) the affirmative approval of a majority of the Applicable Registry Operators at the time such approval is obtained. For the avoidance of doubt, with respect to clause (B), each Applicable Registry Operator shall have one vote for each top-­‐level domain operated by such Registry Operator pursuant to an Applicable Registry Agreement.
