Teaching Dossier definition

Teaching Dossier. A teaching dossier is a summary of the scope and quality of the Teaching Faculty Member’s Teaching.
Teaching Dossier means a curated, reflective summary of the evidence of an instructor's major teaching accomplishments and strengths.
Teaching Dossier may include power point presentations, course outlines, teaching material, etc.

Examples of Teaching Dossier in a sentence

  • The dossier has four principal parts: Overview, Teaching Dossier, SRC Dossier, Service Dossier as outlined below.

  • In order to provide a current record of a CAS Member’s teaching activities and experience, a Member may include a Teaching Dossier as part of an application for appointment under Article 13 and as part of the Report of Activities under 16.

  • The Teaching Dossier is intended to provide a description and record of an applicant’s major teaching accomplishments and strengths in a manner that conveys the scope and quality of the applicant’s teaching.

  • Based solely on the material in the Official Personal File, the applicant’s Teaching Dossier and the optional material described above, the Review Committee shall determine whether the applicant has met the standard defined in Clause 37.05 (C) (ii).

  • Teaching Dossier designates a document describing a Full-time Instructor’s teaching accomplishments and strengths in a manner that conveys the scope and quality of the Member’s teaching.

  • Referees shall assess all aspects of a candidate’s Teaching and shall do so based on the materials in the Teaching Dossier and may spend some time observing the candidate’s Teaching.

  • Internal Referees shall also spend some time in the classroom (face-to-face and/or online) of the candidate whose Teaching is being assessed as well as examining the candidate’s Teaching Dossier.
