Team Travel definition

Team Travel is defined as any overnight travel for athletes under 18 years of age to a practice, meet, trip, or event supervised by North Carolina Swimming or Swimmers Club for the time I arrive until the practice, meet, trip or event is concluded and I have departed the area or, in the case of a trip, returned home. 12 & under athletes are fully under the care of a parent/legal guardian.
Team Travel means any travel to and from any practice, competition, or Team Function, whether on or off the University’s campus, by a UNC varsity athletic team and other individuals approved to accompany the team in accordance with this Policy.
Team Travel means travel involving a Minor Athlete in conjunction with an Event, other than Local Travel.

  • Air Travel means travel by an airline/aircraft for the purpose of flying therein as a passenger.

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • New jobs training program or “program” means the project or projects established by a community college for the creation of jobs by providing education and training of workers for new jobs for new or expanding industry in the merged area served by the community college. The proceeds of the certificates, as authorized by the Act, shall be used only to fund program services related to training programs made necessary by the creation of new jobs.

  • Transient lodging means a room or a suite of rooms.

All applicants are encouraged to go to the Attorney General’s website https://oag.ca.gov/ab1887 for a current list of states subject to travel restrictions. Grants awarded under this solicitation shall not contain travel paid for with Commission funds (applicants can instead use match funds) to the listed states unless the Commission approves in writing that the trip falls within one of the exceptions under the law.

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education, and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.
