Temporary Posting definition

Temporary Posting means the agreed temporary placement of an officer to a prison on the completion of the trainee prison officer course, pending a permanent posting.
Temporary Posting means the transfer of an employee from the employee's regular posting to another posting, on a temporary basis for a period in excess of one week (7 days), the conditions of which preclude the employee from claiming full living and traveling expenses for the duration of the temporary posting. The Chief of Police shall be responsible for establishing an equitable per diem allowance for each employee during temporary posting governed by the prevailing rates in the area for:
Temporary Posting. As per Article 1.01 and 24.01 (b).

Examples of Temporary Posting in a sentence

  • UR’s will cover for absences for up to thirty (30) days before a Temporary Posting is required.

  • Thereafter, the vacated shifts may be filled on the same basis with no more than two employee moves on any Temporary Posting.

  • Student Supervisors shall be classified as a regular employee except where varied by language (see Temporary Posting XXX #14).

  • All vacancies that will have an anticipated temporary duration of more than ninety (90) calendar days, will be considered a Temporary Posting and it will be posted immediately and the provisions of Article 12.01 (D) shall apply.

  • Temporary Post means a post other than a permanent post.

  • Temporary Position means a position that the Employer has determined will be in excess of thirty (30) calendar days and not more than two (2) years, but which is not a Regular Position. Temporary Positions are intended for staffing of short term projects and interim staffing relief during periods such as the absences of employees or for unexpected and temporary changes in workload. A Temporary Position may be either a new position for the designated period or a temporary vacancy of a Regular Position or of a previously vacated Temporary Position.

  • Temporary job site means a location where any of the following occur:

  • Temporary use means a use or structure on improved or unimproved real estate which is of impermanent nature, and is used for less than ninety days in a calendar year.

  • Temporary service means an electrical service granted temporarily for such purposes as construction, real estate sales, trailers, et cetera;

  • temporary building means a Building designed or constructed, erected or placed on land and which is demolished or removed from the lands within twelve months of Building Permit issuance;
