Receiving district means a district to which all or part of the territory of a dissolved district is attached under section 12 of the revised school code, MCL 380.12.

Public transit district means a public transit district organized under Title 17B, Chapter 2a, Part 8, Public Transit District Act.

The term includes but is not limited to conservation districts, water districts, weed management districts, irrigation districts, fire districts, community college districts, hospital districts, sewer districts, and transportation districts. Improvement district means a local district that operates under and is subject to the provisions of this chapter and Chapter 2a, Part 4, Improvement District Act, including an entity that was created and operated as a county improvement district under the law in effect before April 30, 2007.

Terminating Event means any of the following events:
Reverse Termination Fee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(b).
