Termite infestation definition

Termite infestation means any active termites found in or on a building, its foundation or attached appurtenances, or under the building, in or on debris, or in or on stumps under the building; and
Termite infestation will mean the physical presence of subterranean termites within the physical members of a structure for which Terminix owes termite control obligations according to the Customer’s termite control contract, not to include termites that are solely external to the structure;

  • All inspections and reports must note the presence in the Structure, if any, of conditions conducive to Subterranean Termite infestation of the Structure and such notification must advise the owner of Structure of the need to correct such conditions.

  • Further, the Purchaser agrees to maintain the property free from moisture leaks, moisture damage, wood to soil contact, PolySteel or similar construction Drivit (Synthetic Stucco Systems) in contact with soil or ground masonry surfaces, etc., & other conditions conducive to Subterranean Termite infestation.

Related to Termite infestation

  • Infestation or "infested" means that the presence of bedbugs is sufficient to materially affect the health and safety of tenants and their guests.

  • Pests means Birds, Vermin and Insects.

  • Hazardous Substance Activity means any actual, proposed or threatened storage, holding, existence, use, release, emission, discharge, generation, processing, abatement, removal, cleanup or detoxification, disposition, handling or transportation of any Hazardous Substance from, under, into or on or in respect of the property subject to this Agreement or the surrounding property, or any other activity or occurrence that causes or would cause such event to exist.

  • Hazardous substance UST system means an UST system that contains a hazardous substance defined in section 101(14) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (but not including any substance regulated as a hazardous waste under subtitle C) or any mixture of such substances and petroleum, and which is not a petroleum UST system.

  • Hazardous Waste Management Facility means, as defined in NCGS 130A, Article 9, a facility for the collection, storage, processing, treatment, recycling, recovery, or disposal of hazardous waste.
