Terrestrial Television definition

Terrestrial Television means the broadcasting and/or re-broadcasting of television programmes by an analogue or digital terrestrial television station or a network of such stations.
Terrestrial Television means linear Television transmitted over-the-air through terrestrial frequency bands whether in analogue or digital format, standard definition, high definition or any evolvement thereof or otherwise by an authorized and licensed broadcast station and intended for direct reception by the general public using reception antennas for no fee or charge (other than any tax, levy or fee imposed by any governmental, administrative or other public authority in the relevant territory or part of it). For clarity, Terrestrial Television shall include the right to make a simulcast / re-broadcast of such Terrestrial Television distribution via cable television, satellite television and IPTV (to the exclusion of any Digital Transmission), including where there is a charge for such simulcast / re- broadcast distribution as part of a package or service (eg a “basic package” where a simulcast / re-broadcast of a Terrestrial Television channel is part of a basic subscription package of a satellite television service);
Terrestrial Television means a mode of television broadcasting which does not involve satellite transmission or cables;
