The Accountable Body definition

The Accountable Body is the body of officers with responsibility for the transfer of funding as defined in Schedule One.
The Accountable Body means the Local Authority appointed by the Partnership to exercise on the Partnership's behalf the duties and responsibilities conferred on an accountable body by any agreement entered into by the appointed accountable body and HM Government (including any organisation or body appointed established or controlled by HM Government) for any purpose connected with a Grant Funded Project
The Accountable Body. the Act” means Essex County Council; means the Local Government Act 1972;

Examples of The Accountable Body in a sentence

  • The Accountable Body shall supply the Regional Office with such support services as may reasonably be required, these may include services such as financial, legal, audit and other professional and/or technical services; and administrative functions such as payroll, preparing statement of accounts, VAT returns and liaising with external audit etc.

  • Accountable Body The Accountable Body shall, subject to the statutory role of each constituent Council’s monitoring officer in relation to their Council, provide for the purposes of the City Deal Wider Investment Fund the services of its monitoring officer and employ any staff appointed by the CCR Regional Cabinet.

  • The Accountable Body may, but need not, set off sums payable to it to the Project Authority Lead against any unpaid sums.

  • C The Accountable Body has received and accepted an award of Swansea Bay City Deal funding consisting of funding from the Welsh Government and the UK Government in a letter from the Welsh Government dated 24 October 2019 which imposed terms and conditions on the provision of Swansea Bay City Deal funding (“the Funding Award Letter”).

  • The Accountable Body shall establish a Portfolio Management Office and employ a Programme Director following a selection process agreed and to be agreedundertaken by the Joint Appointment Committee, to be responsible for the day to day management of matters relating to the Joint Committee and the Swansea Bay City Deal.
