Core Course means a course that a student admitted to a particular programme must successfully complete to receive the degree and which cannot be substituted by any other course.
the Court means the High Court;
clerk of the court means a clerk of the court appointed in terms of section 13 of the Magistrate’s Courts Act, 1944 (Act No. 32 of 1944), and includes an assistant clerk of the court so appointed; (xv)
Juvenile court means the district court of this state.
Online course means a course of study that is capable of generating a credit or a grade, that is provided in an interactive internet-connected learning environment, in which pupils are separated from their teachers by time or location, or both, and in which a teacher with a valid Michigan teaching certificate is responsible for determining appropriate instructional methods for each pupil, diagnosing learning needs, assessing pupil learning, prescribing intervention strategies, reporting outcomes, and evaluating the effects of instruction and support strategies.
training course means a course of training or instruction provided wholly or partly by or on behalf of or in pursuance of arrangements made with, or approved by or on behalf of, Skills Development Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, a government department or the Secretary of State.
the City means the City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation, acting by and through both its Director of the Office of Contract Administration or the Director’s designated agent, hereinafter referred to as “Purchasing” and [insert name of department].
Venue means the premises as delineated and shown edged red in Annex A.
Water course means a natural channel or an artificial channel formed by training or diversion of a natural channel meant for carrying storm and waste water.
State Court means a judicial body of a state that is vested by law with responsibility for adjudicating cases involving abuse, neglect, deprivation, delinquency, or status offenses of individuals who have not attained the age of eighteen (18).
Delaware Courts shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9(d).
Appellate court means the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, or both, as appropriate.
New York Courts shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9(d).
Elective Course means an optional course to be selected by a student out of such courses offered in the same or any other Department/Centre.
Licensed Processes means processes which, in the course of being practiced, would be within the scope of one or more claims of the Licensed Patent Rights that have not been held unpatentable, invalid or unenforceable by an unappealed or unappealable judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction.
Competent Court of Law means any court or tribunal or any similar judicial or quasi- judicial body in India that has jurisdiction to adjudicate upon issues relating to this Agreement;
Federal Court means the Federal Court of Australia.
Courts means the Ontario Court, the Quebec Court and the BC Court.
Supreme Court means the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Ontario Court means the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Actions or Proceedings means any action, suit, proceeding, arbitration or Governmental or Regulatory Authority investigation or audit.
sitting means, in relation to a House, a period during which that House is sitting continuously without adjournment, and includes any period during which the House is in committee;
Delaware Court means the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware.
Youth court means the court established pursuant to this chapter to hear all proceedings in
criminal proceedings means criminal proceedings in relation to which the strict rules of evidence apply;
Promotions When an employee is promoted to a classification in a higher grade, he will move to the next higher rate within his new grade with a minimum increase of $15.00 per week, effective at the time of his promotion. However, this rate cannot exceed the maximum rate of the job on the wage schedule.
