The Mediation definition

The Mediation shall comprise all steps taken to attempt to resolve the Dispute by mediation whether prior or subsequent to the execution of this agreement.
The Mediation shall comprise: a. All steps taken to attempt to resolve the Dispute by mediation, whether prior (including but not limited to a pre-mediation conference) or subsequent to the execution of this agreement; b. All communications between the parties during the course of the Mediation; c. In the event that a settlement is reached, and the parties are unable to record that settlement in writing during the course of the Mediation, all communications taking place after the conclusion of the mediation between the parties (whether oral or in writing (including email) in relation to, or arising out of, the recording of the settlement reached.
The Mediation means the settlement meeting which the Parties have agreed to attend with the Mediator at which they will attempt in good faith to settle the Dispute

  • Mediation means any process in which a mediator facilitates communication and negotiation between the parties to assist them in reaching a voluntary agreement regarding their dispute.

  • Arbitration means any arbitration whether or not administered by a permanent arbitral institution;

This includes any treatments, procedures, facilities, equipment, drugs, drug usage, devices, or supplies not recognized as accepted medical practice, and any of those items requiring federal or other governmental agency approval not received at the time services are rendered.

  • Nuclear medicine technologist means an individual who holds a current certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

  • Expert witness or “expert” means a person who is retained to render an opinion regarding an issue relevant to a case, whether or not the person actually testifies in court.

  • Referee means a person who is designated as a referee under the friend of the court act.

  • the Tribunal means the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber).

  • EXPERIMENTAL OR INVESTIGATIONAL means any healthcare service that has progressed to limited human application, but has not been recognized as proven and effective in clinical medicine. See Experimental or Investigational Services in Section 3 for a more detailed description of the type of healthcare services we consider experimental or investigational.

  • Mediation Rules As defined in Section 2.03(h)(i).

  • conciliator means an individual appointed as such in terms of section 82;

  • Compulsory arbitration means the procedure whereby parties involved in a labor dispute

  • Hearing means an oral hearing and includes a hearing conducted in whole or in part by video link, telephone or other means of instantaneous two-way electronic communication;

  • Chinese Medicine Practitioner means a Chinese medicine practitioner who is duly registered with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong pursuant to the Chinese Medicine Ordinance (Cap. 549) of the laws of Hong Kong, but excluding the Insured Person, the Policyholder, an insurance intermediary, an employer, employee, Immediate Family Member or business partner of the Policyholder and/or Insured Person.
