Third Party Top Up definition

Third Party Top Up means the sum which a third party has agreed with the Authority to pay to the Provider as part of the Fee payable by the Authority. For the avoidance of doubt a Resident cannot pay a Third Party Top Up save in circumstances permitted by the Department of Health circular LAC (2004)20 (or such other document which may replace this circular) and Third Party Top Ups shall not be payable unless agreed by the Authority in writing prior to the commencement of a Resident’s Placement in the Provider’s Care Home.

Third Party Top Up means an agreement between the Council and a third party where the third party reimburses the Council for the difference between the Contract Price. “TPTU” shall have the same meaning ascribed hereto.

Examples of Third Party Top Up in a sentence

  • Where a Top Up is to be applied, the Service User and the Third Party must agree to making the Third Party Contribution and this will be recorded in the Third Party Top Up Agreement.

  • The Third Party shall pay the Third Party Contribution to the Provider weekly in arrears as set out in the Third Party Top Up Agreement.

  • Attached to this Contract is the form of Guarantee that the Guarantor (if You have one) agrees to enter into; and the form of Third Party Top Up Agreement that the Third Party agrees to enter into unless the Third Party Top Up arrangements are required to be in the form required by the Relevant Authority.

  • The Third Party agrees to pay the Third Party Top Up four weekly and in advance by direct debit, cheque or bank transfer due within 14 days of the date of the Company’s invoice.
