Examples of Title IV-E Foster Care in a sentence
ODJFS is the federally designated agency to administer the Title IV-E Foster Care program.
Children in the custody of another state’s social services agency, who are eligible for and receive Title IV-E Foster Care maintenance payments and who now reside in Virginia, are IV-E Foster Care for Medicaid eligibility purposes.
DFCS is responsible for the Title IV-B Subpart 1 (Child Welfare Services), IV-B Subpart 2 (Promoting Safe and Stable Families), Title IV-E (Foster Care and Adoption Assistance), Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) as amended by the Keeping Children and Families Safe Act of 2003, Chafee Foster Care Independence Program (CFCIP), Educational Training Voucher (ETV) and other federal and state programs.
Title IV-E Foster Care is monitored by the Division’s Child Welfare monitors.
The removal home is the basis for which AFDC criteria is considered as part of a Title IV-E Foster Care Eligibility Determination.
Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Subsidy: Children with special medical needs who have been placed in foster homes or have been adopted.
MCFE is for children who are Title IV-E Foster Care, Title IV-E Adoption Assistance, or Title IV-E Guardianship Assistance Program eligible and young adults who are eligible for Child in Care (CIC) Medicaid due to turning 18 years old while being in the legal custody of the Department, Extended Foster Care, Extension of Maintenance Adoption Subsidy, or Extension of Guardianship Assistance Program eligible.
The LDSS shall send the Title IV-E Foster Care and Medicaid Initial/Redetermination Evaluation to the Medicaid program in the new state which verifies the youth’s title IV-E eligibility and categorical eligibility for that state’s Medicaid program.

The program also provides matching funds for child placement and other administrative or training costs associated with serving these children and others determined to be candidates for the Title IV-E Foster Care program.
