Topical formulation definition

Topical formulation means a transcutaneous therapeutic cannabis-infused product in liquid form intended to be applied to the skin or hair, including an ointment, gel, cream, or lotion, comprised of oil, water, short carbon chains, alcohol, dimethylsulfoxide, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, glycerin, mineral, [and] or mixtures thereof.
Topical formulation means a transcutaneous therapeutic marijuana extract formulation comprising of water, short carbon chains, alcohol, dimethysulfoxide, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, glycerin, mineral and mixtures thereof.
Topical formulation means a formulation of a Licensed Product that is administered topically and is absorbed through the skin or mucosa. For clarity, Oral Formulations are excluded from Topical Formulations.

Topical formulation and alternatively “Topical” shall mean any lotion, gel, cream, powder or similar formulation. The following definitions define different types of Topicals:

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.
