Traditional Counseling means any form of Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy offered or rendered in person, face to face, with the Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist in the same physical location.

Counseling means one or more consultations as necessary between a state licensed psychiatrist or psychologist and a patient for the purpose of determining that the patient is capable and not suffering from a psychiatric or psychological disorder or depression causing impaired judgment.
Participating Clinical Professional Counselor means a Clinical Professional Counselor who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
