Transmission Owners means each of Central ▇▇▇▇▇▇; Con Edison; NYSEG; National Grid; O&R; and RG&E; as well as LIPA acting in its role as a governmental authority owning transmission in the state of New York, including each of their respective successors and permitted assigns.

Transmission Owners has the meaning assigned to it under the Colstrip Project Transmission Agreement.

• The ISO shall provide the Transmission Owners with the details of such insurance and shall have them named as additional insureds to the extent of their insurable interests.

• Additionally, the ISO will procure insurance or other alternative risk financing arrangements sufficient to cover the risks associated with the ISO carrying out its obligations, including the obligation to indemnify the Transmission Owners.

• In addition, a Generation Interconnection Customer that acquires an ownership interest in such facilities shall become, and shall remain for so long as it retains such interest, a signatory to the Consolidated Transmission Owners Agreement.

• The Management Committee shall be comprised of five sectors: Generator Owners; Other Suppliers; Transmission Owners; End-Use Consumers; and Public Power/Environmental Parties.

• Interconnected Transmission Owner's and Transmission Provider’s reviews of Interconnection Customer's initial drawings of the Customer Interconnection Facilities shall not be construed as confirming, endorsing or providing a warranty as to the fitness, safety, durability or reliability of such facilities or the design thereof.

(s) “Transmission System Capital Additions” means additions, betterments, and replacements by the Transmission Owners to the Transmission System that are made pursuant to this Agreement and are necessary: (1) to assure design reliability for Requirements Capacity, (2) as required by governmental agencies, (3) to transmit generation from Colstrip Units #1 and #2 and the Project, (4) to respond to a transmission service request, or (5) to respond to a generation interconnection or transmission-to-transmission interconnection request; provided, however, the construction of a new transmission line in response to a transmission service request or a generation interconnection or transmission- to-transmission interconnection request is specifically excluded from “Transmission System Capital Additions.” (t) “Transmission System Capital Retirements” means physical elements of the Transmission System removed from service or use with the intent that the items so removed will not be placed back into service. (u) “Transmission System Construction” means all activities necessary for planning, engineering, acquisition and erection of the Transmission System and of Transmission System Capital Additions and Transmission System Elective Capital Additions. (v) “Transmission System Elective Capital Additions” means additions, betterments, and replacements by Transmission Owners to the Transmission System that are made pursuant to this Agreement and are not Transmission System Capital Additions; provided, however, the construction of a new transmission line in response to a transmission service request or a generation interconnection or transmission-to-transmission interconnection request is specifically excluded from “Transmission System Elective Capital Additions.” - 5 - (w) “Transmission System Surplus Capacity” means the capacity of the Transmission System that is excess to Requirements Capacity, determined in accordance with Sectio...
