Transmitting Entity definition

Transmitting Entity. The signatory(s) (other than the Seller) to the Transmission Agreement referred to in paragraph 10.1 and its successors and assigns.
Transmitting Entity means any entity or entities that provide transmission and/or interconnection service for electric energy that is delivered to Avista at the Point of Delivery.
Transmitting Entity means the signatory(s) (other than the Seller) to the Transmission Agreement referred to in Article 8 and their successors and assigns.

Examples of Transmitting Entity in a sentence

  • Seller will construct, install, own and maintain all Interconnection Facilities other than those owned, installed or maintained by the Transmitting Entity.

  • Idaho Power will install, operate and maintain at Seller's expense metering, communications and telemetry equipment which will be capable of providing Idaho Power with continuous instantaneous telemetry of the Facility’s generation, Net Energy and Inadvertent Energy amounts delivered by the Transmitting Entity, to Idaho Power's Designated Dispatch Facility.

  • All Inadvertent Energy produced by the Facility will also be delivered by the Transmitting Entity to Idaho Power at the Point of Delivery.

  • Idaho Power, the Transmitting Entity and the Seller shall maintain appropriate operating communications through Idaho Power’s Designated Dispatch Facility in accordance with Appendix A of this Agreement.

  • Energy payments to the Seller will be disbursed within 30 days of the date which Idaho Power receives and accepts the documentation of the monthly Net Energy and Inadvertent Energy actually produced by the Seller’s Facility and delivered to Idaho Power by the Transmitting Entity as specified in Appendix A.

  • At no time will the total amount of Net Energy and/or Inadvertent Energy produced by the Facility and delivered by the Transmitting Entity to the Point of Delivery exceed the Maximum Capacity Amount.

  • Seller will pay all costs of interconnecting with the Transmitting Entity and transmitting Net Energy and Inadvertent Energy to Idaho Power.

  • The Seller, Idaho Power and the Transmitting Entity shall, to the extent practical, coordinate their respective line and Facility maintenance schedules such that they occur simultaneously.

  • Seller and Transmitting Entity will request, in writing, a specific Point of Delivery where the Facility’s Net Energy and Inadvertent Energy will be delivered to Idaho Power.

  • Idaho Power will make a reasonable attempt to contact Seller and/or the Transmitting Entity prior to exercising its rights to curtail, interrupt or reduce deliveries from the Transmitting Entity from the Seller’s Facility.

Related to Transmitting Entity

  • Transmitting means the transferring of data electronically, such as via email, SFTP, webservices, AWS Snowball, etc.

  • Transmitting utility means a person primarily engaged in the business of:

  • transmitter means a person who owns or operates a transmission system;

  • Competing Entity means any entity or person that is engaged, directly or indirectly, in a Competitive Business.

  • Operating Entity means an entity that operates and controls a portion of the bulk transmission system with the goal of ensuring reliable energy interchange between generators, loads, and other operating entities.

  • transmittee means a person entitled to a share by reason of the death or bankruptcy of a shareholder or otherwise by operation of law; and

  • Operating Envelope means the limits on the Company's approved operations set out in Conditions 2.3 to 2.7 of this

  • Reporting Entity means the Constituent Entity that, by virtue of domestic law in its jurisdiction of tax residence, files the CbC Report in its capacity to do so on behalf of the MNE Group;

  • Interconnected Transmission Owner means the Transmission Owner to whose transmission facilities or distribution facilities Customer Interconnection Facilities are, or as the case may be, a Customer Facility is, being directly connected. When used in an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, the term may refer to a Transmission Owner whose facilities must be upgraded pursuant to the Facilities Study, but whose facilities are not directly interconnected with those of the Interconnection Customer.

  • Controlling Entity means an entity which owns, directly or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, (i) a general partnership interest or a Controlling Interest of the limited partnership interests in Borrower (if Borrower is a partnership or joint venture), (ii) a manager's interest in Borrower or a Controlling Interest of the ownership or membership interests in Borrower (if Borrower is a limited liability company), (iii) a Controlling Interest of any class of voting stock of Borrower (if Borrower is a corporation), (iv) a trustee's interest or a Controlling Interest of the beneficial interests in Borrower (if Borrower is a trust), or (v) a managing partner's interest or a Controlling Interest of the partnership interests in Borrower (if Borrower is a limited liability partnership).

  • Executing Entity means any entity, which includes, as the case may be, a developing country which is a party to the Convention, through which GCF Proceeds are channelled or used for the purposes of a Funded Activity or part thereof, and/or any entity that executes, carries out or implements a Funded Activity, or any part thereof. For the avoidance of doubt, the Accredited Entity may also carry out the functions of an Executing Entity;

  • Transmission Owner means a Member that owns or leases with rights equivalent to ownership Transmission Facilities and is a signatory to the PJM Transmission Owners Agreement. Taking transmission service shall not be sufficient to qualify a Member as a Transmission Owner. Transmission Owner Attachment Facilities:

  • person entitled by transmission means a person whose entitlement to a share in consequence of the death or bankruptcy of a member or of any other event giving rise to its transmission by operation of law has been noted in the register;

  • Regional Transmission Organization or “RTO” means the regional transmission organization approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the control area that includes the utility’s assigned service area (as defined in IC 8-1-2.3-2).

  • holding entity means a person that is controlled by an individual;

  • Taxing entity means any county, city, town, school district, special taxing

  • Contracting entity means any person that has a primary business purpose of contracting with participating providers for the delivery of health care services.

  • Transmission pipeline means any high pressure transmission pipeline connected to, but excluding the Maui Pipeline, that is used for the open access transportation of Gas, and includes all items of plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings directly appurtenanced to that pipeline, but excluding any item which is controlled by a party other than that pipeline’s TP Welded Party and any low pressure distribution system.

  • Registering entity means a person who originates or transfers a security title by registration, and includes a broker maintaining security accounts for customers and a transfer agent or other person acting for or as an issuer of securities.

  • Managing entity means the managing agent or, if there is no managing agent, the time-share

  • Transmission means transmission by operation of law, devolution on the personal representative of a deceased person and any other mode of transfer, not being assignment;

  • Certifying entity means an independent certifying organization meeting the agency's requirements for documenting applicant's training in topics set forth in 12VAC5-481-1320 or equivalent state or NRC regulations.

  • Procuring Entity/Purchaser means a Entity having administrative and financial powers to undertake Procurement of Goods, Works or Services using public funds, as specified in the PCC;

  • The Procuring Entity means the organization purchasing the Goods, as named in the SCC.

  • Converting entity means the domestic entity that approves a plan of conversion pursuant to Section 33‑43‑1143 or the foreign entity that approves a conversion pursuant to the law of its jurisdiction of formation.
