Transportation impact fee means a monetary charge imposed on new development for the purpose of mitigating off-site transportation impacts that are a direct result of the proposed development.

"Transportation Impact Fee" does not include a reasonable permit or application fee, administrative fees for collecting and handling impact fees, the cost of reviewing independent fee calculations, the administrative fee required for an appeal, or the proportionate share of costs to implement transportation capacity projects that are not on the Transportation Impact Fee Rate Study’s project list.
