Travel Consultant definition

Travel Consultant means any person appointed as such by the Corporation who performs all of the functions of a Travel Consultant, including preparation of itineraries and processing of reservations.
Travel Consultant means a worker holding the International Air Transport Association Consultancy Diploma or any Other equivalent qualification and who performs all the duties of the reservation and ticketing officer and supervises staff under his control;
Travel Consultant means any employee who satisfies the requirements of the Australian Travel Agents Qualifications as varied from time to time, or is suitably qualified in the opinion of the employer, or the general nature of those duties are as above but who does not need direct supervision and who can operate independently and take a leadership role. Indicative tasks for a Travel Consultant are detailed in Annexure A of this Agreement.

  • In addition, the Independent Travel Consultant shall pay a finance charge of 1.5% per month equal to an annual rate of 18% on all accounts past due.

  • The Parties hereto acknowledge and agree that Independent Travel Consultant is an independent contractor in the performance of the Travel Services for which the Independent Travel Consultant is solely responsible for its actions and inactions.

  • Independent Travel Consultant shall perform the Travel Services at its own office, shop, rental space or home office within the discretion of the Independent Travel Consultant and at its expense.

  • No work, however, may be performed by Independent Travel Consultant at any of the Company's sites unless a support fee is paid and the arrangement is pre-authorized by the Company.

  • The Company shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the Independent Travel Consultant including, but not limited to, advertising, postage, telephone calls, mileage, and entertainment expenses.

Travel Consultant means an employee who is engaged in selling travel product/s and providing tourism based information to clients and industry agents. For purposes of this article, a "travel promoter" does not include: a. A person, firm, corporation, partnership or association that is an officially appointed agent of a common carrier and meets standards no less than those required on January first, nineteen hundred eighty-nine, for authorized agents of the airline reporting corporation. b. A person, firm, corporation, partnership or association that is a registered member in good standing of the Cruise Lines International Association and who solely solicits and/or sells travel services and products as an officially appointed agent of one or more ocean carriers in the sale of the ocean carrier's travel services pursuant to the agency appointment. c. A broker-dealer registered with the securities and exchange commission or the department of law who is engaged in the sale of securities or commodities or sale or rental of real estate pursuant to its registration. 3. "Travel services" means transportation, accommodations in lodgings such as hotels, motels or motor courts, rental of motor vehicles, or any other service related to travel. For purposes of this article, "travel services" shall include investments in time shares. 4.
