Travel Only. Day (i) For any day of the week (including holidays) on which a “Distant Hire” travels to or from distant location at the beginning or end of employment or at the beginning or end of any hiatus period, he shall receive an allowance of four (4) hours of pay at straight time or pay for time actually traveled, whichever is greater, but in no event more than eight (8) hours of pay at straight time. (ii) For any day (including holidays) on which a “Nearby Hire” who is required to report outside a production center travels to or from distant location at the beginning or end of employment or at the beginning or end of any hiatus period, he shall receive an allowance of two (2) hours of pay at straight time or pay for time actually traveled, whichever is greater, but in no event more than eight (8) hours of pay at straight time.
Travel Only. Day: For any day of the week (including holidays) on which an employee travels only, the employee shall receive an allowance of four (4) hours of pay at straight time or pay for time actually traveled, whichever is greater, but in no event more than eight (8) hours of pay at straight time.
Travel Only. Days On a “travel-only” day to an out-of-town assignment, an employee's work day and travel time shall begin at the scheduled departure time of the common carrier and shall end thirty (30) minutes after the employee arrives at the gate, train station or port at the out- of-town destination, with a minimum daily credit of eight (8) hours of pay at the regular rate of pay. Upon returning from an out-of-town assignment, an employee's work day and travel time shall commence as described in the preceding sentence and shall end when the carrier arrives at the gate, train station or port at the out-of-town destination, with a minimum daily credit of eight (8) hours of pay at the regular rate of pay. There shall be no crediting of any travel time from the airport, train station or port.
