TRIP END HAIL. The trip-end hail report must be submitted at least 6 hours in advance of landing for all trips at least 6 hours in duration or occurring more than 6 hours from port. For shorter trips, the trip-end hail reports must be submitted within sufficient in consultation with NMFS Office of Law Enforcement. An alternative timing for the trip end hail may be implemented during FY 2014 if agreed upon by the sector, the monitoring provider, and NMFS.
