Unacceptable Use definition

Unacceptable Use. Has the meaning given in clause 4.6.
Unacceptable Use means that you MUST NOT:
Unacceptable Use means an authorized or unauthorized user’s improper use of computer and communications resources, including but are not limited to the following: private or personal profit activities; political campaign activities; vandalism or destruction of files and records; unauthorized not-for-profit activities; attempts to disrupt or subvert another user or users work; transmission or storage of threatening, obscene, pornographic, profane, sexually oriented or harassing materials; chat room usage that does not pertain directly to the user’s job duties; or violation of copyright laws (which does not include fair use).

Examples of Unacceptable Use in a sentence

  • All persons that will be working with PHI COUNTY 21 discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of 22 COUNTY must sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General Use, Security and 23 Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

  • All persons that will be working with DHCS PHI or PI must sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General Use, Security and Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

  • All persons that will be working with County PHI or PI must sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General Use, Security and Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

  • Contractor shall ensure staff participate in information privacy and security training at least annually, and prior to accessing protected health information (hereinafter PHI) or personal information (hereinafter PI), sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General use, Security and Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

  • All persons that will be working with PHI COUNTY 25 discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of 26 COUNTY must sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General Use, Security and 27 Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

  • All persons that will be working with PHI COUNTY 14 discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of 15 COUNTY must sign a confidentiality statement that includes, at a minimum, General Use, Security and 16 Privacy Safeguards, Unacceptable Use, and Enforcement Policies.

Unacceptable Use includes, but is not limited to, acts of a malicious or nuisance nature, invasion of privacy, harassment, bullying, hacking, altering the settings on any ICT device or equipment without authorisation, plagiarism, gaming, impersonation/identity theft, inappropriate use of Email and distribution of unacceptable material, spoofing, gambling, fraud, copyright infringement, or cheating in an examination.
