Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop Clause Samples

The Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop clause defines the terms under which a telecommunications provider grants another provider access to a specific segment of its copper local loop infrastructure, typically from a distribution point to the customer's premises. This arrangement allows competitors to install their own equipment and offer services directly to end-users without duplicating the entire local loop. By enabling shared use of existing copper infrastructure, the clause promotes competition, reduces barriers to market entry, and ensures more choices for consumers.
Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop. (UCSL) is a copper facility of any length provided from the cross-box in the field up to and including the end-user’s point of demarcation. If available, this facility will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils between the end-user and the cross-box.
Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop. (UCSL) is a copper facility of any length provided from the cross-box in the field up to and including the End User’s point of demarcation. If available, this facility will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils between the End User and the cross-box. 2.5.2.3.1 If Comcast Phone requests a UCSL and it is not available, Comcast Phone may request the copper Sub-Loop facility be modified pursuant to the ULM process to remove load coils and/or excessive bridged taps. If load coils and/or excessive bridged taps are removed, the facility will be classified as a UCSL.

If load coils and/or excessive bridged taps are removed, the facility will be classified as a UCSL.
Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop. (UCSL) is a non-loaded copper facility of any length provided from the cross-box in the field up to and including the loop demarcation point on an End User’s premises. If available, this facility will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils. 2.8.2.3.1 If AT&T requests a UCSL and a non-loaded pair is not available, AT&T may order unbundled subloop modification on an existing facility. If load coils are removed from any existing subloop, that subloop will be classified as a UCSL. AT&T may order, at its option the LMU, at the applicable rates, to determine what loop modifications will be required, and should AT&T request a loop that requires modification, AT&T will be charged the applicable rate for that loop modification.
