Unhedged Individual Commodity Index definition

Unhedged Individual Commodity Index means the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSM and each other index for a group of commodities (which may change from time to time with respect to such index) calculated and published by Bloomberg from time to time in accordance with the Handbook using the methodology of the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSMmeans an index for an individual commodity calculated and published by Bloomberg from time to time in accordance with the Handbook using the methodology of the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSMmeans an Unhedged Classic Individual Commodity Index, an Unhedged Classic Composite Commodity Index, an Unhedged Longer Dated Individual Commodity Index or an Unhedged Longer Dated Composite Commodity Indexmeans an Unhedged Classic Composite Commodity Index or an Unhedged Longer Dated Composite Commodity Indexmeans the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSM and each other index for a group of commodities (which may change from time to time with respect to such index) calculated and published by Bloomberg from time to time in accordance with the Handbook using the methodology of the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSMmeans an index for an individual commodity calculated and published by Bloomberg from time to time in accordance with the Handbook using the methodology of the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSMmeans an Unhedged Classic Individual Commodity Index or an Unhedged Longer Dated Individual Commodity Index

  • Commodity option means an account, agreement, or contract giving a party to the account, agreement, or contract the right but not the obligation to purchase or sell one or more commodities or one or more commodity contracts, whether characterized as an option, privilege, indemnity, bid, offer, put, call, advance guaranty, decline guaranty or otherwise, but shall not include an option traded on a national securities exchange registered with the United States securities and exchange commission.

  • Commodity contract means a commodity futures contract, an option on a commodity futures contract, a commodity option, or another contract if the contract or option is:

  • commodity derivatives means commodity derivatives as defined in Article 2(1)(30) of Regulation (EU) No 600/2014;

  • Commodity Account is any “commodity account” as defined in the Code with such additions to such term as may hereafter be made.

  • Foreign market vehicle means any motor vehicle originally manufactured outside the United States,

  • SIFMA Municipal Swap Index means the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Municipal Swap Index, or such other weekly, high-grade index comprised of seven-day, tax-exempt variable rate demand notes produced by Bloomberg or its successor, or as otherwise designated by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association; provided, however, that if such index is no longer produced by Bloomberg or its successor, then SIFMA Municipal Swap Index shall mean (i) the S&P Municipal Bond 7 Day High Grade Rate Index produced by Standard & Poor’s Financial Services LLC or its successors or (ii) if the S&P Municipal Bond 7 Day High Grade Rate Index is no longer produced, such other reasonably comparable index selected in good faith by the Board of Trustees of the Fund.]

  • Commodity intermediary means a person that:

  • Open Position means a Long Position or a Short Position which is not a Completed Transaction.

  • Commodity Futures Trading Commission means the independent regulatory agency established by congress to administer the Commodity Exchange Act.

  • eligible client means a client of a person or company if any of the following apply:

  • Commodities Accounts (i) shall mean all “commodity accounts” as defined in Article 9 of the UCC and (ii) shall include, without limitation, all of the accounts listed on Schedule 4.4 under the heading “Commodities Accounts” (as such schedule may be amended or supplemented from time to time).

  • Commodity customer means a person for which a commodity intermediary carries a commodity contract on its books.

  • Commodity Exchange Act means the Commodity Exchange Act (7 U.S.C. § 1 et seq.), as amended from time to time, and any successor statute.

  • Agricultural commodity means all agricultural, aquacultural, silvicultural, horticultural, floricultural, or viticultural products, livestock or livestock products, Christmas trees, bees, maple syrup, honey, commercial fish or fish products, and seeds produced in this state, either in their natural state or as processed by the producer of the commodity. The kinds, types, and subtypes of products to be classed together as an agricultural commodity for the purposes of this act shall be determined on the basis of common usage and practice.

  • Commodity Interests means commodity futures contracts, options on commodity futures contracts, and options on physical commodities traded on or subject to the rules of:

  • Swiss Withholding Tax Act means the Swiss Federal Act on Withholding Tax of 13 October 1965 (Bundesgesetz über die Verrechnungssteuer), together with the related ordinances, regulations and guidelines, all as amended and applicable from time to time.

  • Commodity Hedging Agreement means any agreement with respect to a commodity swap or other agreement regarding the hedging of commodity purchase and sale exposure executed in connection with hedging the commodity purchase and sale exposure of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries, and any confirming letter executed pursuant to such commodity hedging agreement, all as amended, restated or otherwise modified.

  • Commodity Agreement means any commodity futures contract, commodity swap, commodity option or other similar agreement or arrangement designed to protect against fluctuations in the price of commodities or to otherwise manage commodity prices or the risk of fluctuations in commodity prices.

  • Commodity means any material, article, supply, goods, or equipment.

  • Open Positions means aggregate risk disclosure, arising from buy or sell of financial instruments in accordance with Client instructions pending for subsequent counter-transaction to close/settle such market trades/disclosures.

  • Bulk commodities means the following commodities, when shipped in rail tank cars, tanker trucks, trailers, other bulk wheeled conveyances, or pipelines:

  • Commodity Account Control Agreement means a control agreement in a form that is reasonably satisfactory to the Collateral Agent establishing the Collateral Agent’s Control with respect to any Commodity Account.

  • Raw agricultural commodity means any food in its raw or natural state including fruits that are washed, colored, or otherwise treated in their unpeeled natural form before marketing.

  • Supplier Profit Margin means, in relation to a period, the Supplier Profit for the relevant period divided by the total Charges over the same period in respect of any Call Off Agreements and expressed as a percentage;

  • Eligible Citizen means a Person qualified to own interests in real property in jurisdictions in which any Group Member does business or proposes to do business from time to time, and whose status as a Limited Partner or Assignee does not or would not subject such Group Member to a significant risk of cancellation or forfeiture of any of its properties or any interest therein.

  • Commodity Hedging Agreements means, in respect of a Person, any commodity purchase contract, commodity futures or forward contract, commodities option contract or other similar contract (including commodities derivative agreements or arrangements), to which such Person is a party or a beneficiary.
