Uniformed Services of the United States means service in the:
Uniformed Services of the United States means the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Coast and Geodetic Survey, and Public Health Service, and all regular and reserve components thereof, including the National Guard. The term “uniformed services of the United States” applies only to persons who are deemed members thereof under the laws of the United States relating to pay and allowances. Services as a member of the uniformed services includes inactive duty training.
Uniformed Services of the United States means the Armed Forces, the Army National Guard and Air National Guard when engaged in active duty for training, inactive duty training, or full-time National Guard duty, or full-time duty in the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service.‌‌‌‌

  • In such a case, without regard to any limitations on contributions set forth, a Participant who is reemployed on or after August 1, 1990 because of a period of service in the Uniformed Services of the United States may elect to contribute to the Plan the Tax-Deferred Contributions that could have been contributed to the Plan in accordance with the provisions of the Plan had he remained continuously employed by the Employer throughout such period of absence ("make-up contributions").
