  • UNIVERSAL LIFE PLANS: For universal life policies the amount of reinsurance for any policy year is to be determined at the beginning of such year as the excess, if any, of the amount at risk over the retained risk.

  • Retirement Plans means the retirement income, supplemental executive retirement, excess benefits and retiree medical, life and similar benefit plans providing retirement perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits at least as great in the aggregate as are payable thereunder prior to a Change in Control;

The term includes vision care plans but does not include policies or plans providing coverage for a specified disease or other limited benefit coverage.

  • Compensation Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.11(b).

  • Life sciences means science for the examination or understanding of life or life processes, including, but not limited to, all of the following:

  • Company Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16(a).

  • DEPP means the Authority’s Decision Procedure and Penalties Manual;

  • Health benefit plan means a policy, contract, certificate or agreement offered or issued by a health carrier to provide, deliver, arrange for, pay for or reimburse any of the costs of health care services.

  • Universal bilateral modification means a bilateral modification, as defined in FAR subpart 43.1, that updates or incorporates new FAR or AIDAR clauses, other terms and conditions, or special requirements, affecting all USAID awards or a class of awards, as specified in the Agency notification of such modification.

  • life policy means a contract in terms of which a person, in return for a premium, undertakes to -
