University Members definition

University Members means an Academic Member, Non-Academic Member, Senior Administrator, Student, Contractor or Volunteer.

  • When expressing opinions in any public forum external to the University, Members shall not purport to speak for the University unless so authorized.

  • If requested by the University, Members shall furnish satisfactory medical proof of illness.

  • If they wish to use educational technologies supported by the University, Members will be provided with access to the University systems (e.g. CourseLink, VPN services, etc.) needed regardless of whether the Member is working on campus or remotely.

  • One-third (i.e. at least 4 Members) of the whole number of Members of the TAHSc Network Executive, of which two are NHS Tayside Members and two are University Members all present and entitled to vote shall constitute a quorum at all meetings of the TAHSc Network Executive.

  • The University Members will maintain their own instruments and their University based remote observing stations and will individually bear extraordinary expenses associated with their own observing projects, as well as transportation expenses.

  • Direct Members, Partners, University Members and other affiliated organisations are not entitled to vote on Officer roles or By-Laws amendments but can participate in other votes.
