U.S. Government definition

U.S. Government means the federal government of the United States, or any instrumentality or agency thereof the obligations of which are guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the federal government of the United States.
U.S. Government means the United States government including any and all agencies, commissions, branches, instrumentalities and departments thereof.
U.S. Government means any of (i) the federal government of the United States of America, (ii) any instrumentality or agency of the federal government of the United States of America and (iii) any Person wholly-owned by, or the sole beneficiary of which is, the federal government of the United States of America or any instrumentality or agency thereof.

Examples of U.S. Government in a sentence

  • If software or services are being acquired by or on behalf of the U.S. Government or by a U.S Government prime contractor or subcontractor (at any tier), the software, services and related documentation are “commercial items” as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101.

  • You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
