Vacation Carry-Over definition

Vacation Carry-Over. Any unit member in the bargaining unit who has been employed for more than one
Vacation Carry-Over. If for any reason an employee is not able to take all or any part of his/her annual vacation, the amount not taken shall be accumulated for use not later than the end of the following fiscal year.

Examples of Vacation Carry-Over in a sentence

  • A written Vacation Carry-Over Request Form must be submitted to the Department Manager and then to the Director for approval before the employee’s anniversary date, to be credited with the carryover.

  • It is hereby agreed that Executive will make reasonable efforts to use a minimum of five (5) such Vacation Carry-Over Days per year, provided that it is scheduled and taken in accordance with Dialogic’s policy for paid time off as in effect from time to time.

  • On any termination of Executive’s employment, the Executive will be paid any accrued but unpaid base salary, and any accrued but unused vacation time, including the Vacation Carry-Over Days.

  • For the period commencing May 1, 2010, Executive understands and agrees that all paid time off (other than the Vacation Carry-Over Days described above) will accrue and must be taken in accordance with the standard Dialogic policies for employees in Canada.

  • Executive agrees that he will make reasonable efforts to use a minimum of five (5) such Vacation Carry-Over Days per year, in addition to any new annual accruals, provided that it is scheduled and taken in accordance with the applicable policy for paid time off as in effect from time to time.

  • Executive understands and agrees that all paid time off (other than the Vacation Carry-Over Days described above) will accrue and must be taken in accordance with the standard policies for employees in Canada.

  • Employees will be required to take their outstanding vacation entitlement in accordance with Article (Vacation Carry-Over).

  • As a result of the staffing shortages that can affect the Employer' s ability to grant vacation leave, the parties agree that employees shall be permitted to carry-over unused vacation hours from the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 Fiscal (Vacation) years, beyond those specified in Article 23.05 (re: Vacation Carry-Over).

  • Vacation Carry-Over: Paid vacation leave, not to exceed one hundred sixty (160) hours, may be carried over from one calendar year to the next calendar year.
