Variable Energy Resource definition

Variable Energy Resource or “VER” has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

More Definitions of Variable Energy Resource

Variable Energy Resource means a device for the production of electricity that is characterized by an energy source that has variability that is beyond the control of the facility owner or operator. Terms with initial capitalization that are not defined in Article I shall have the meanings specified in the Article or Appendix in which they are used or in the GTC Transmission Service Tariff.

  • Eligible Renewable Energy Resource or “ERR” has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12 and California Public Resources Code Section 25741, as either code provision is amended or supplemented from time to time.
