Venue Internet definition

Venue Internet is defined as public internet services provided to a venue carried by traditional hard-wired delivery including T1, T3, Cable, DSL or other similar systems. One or more connections are required to execute OneCause events. Venue Internet does not include satellite or cellular delivery of internet access. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCURING VENUE INTERNET. Venue must maintain a minimum internet bandwidth of 2mb up/down for the registration and scoreboard connection (Wi-Fi or hardline) for THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE EVENT. Venue AND CUSTOMER are responsible for monitoring internet bandwidth and increasing capacity as necessary to maintain required levels. ONECAUSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VENUE INTERNET, VENUE WIFI, OR ANY VENUE NETWORK PERFORMANCE OR CAPABILITY. Access to Venue Internet can be either: • A password protected, wireless internet connection OR • A shared hard-wired high-speed internet connection. Connection drop needs to be near a power source and allow network address translation with upload and download speeds of 2MBps or better, MUST BE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT DURATION and is the responsibility of the venue.
