In the event the Fire Chief contemplates disciplining an employee at a level higher than a Verbal Reprimand, he shall give written notice of hearing within fifteen (15) calendar days after he has knowledge of the fact(s) which give rise to the disciplinary action, or, with reasonable diligence, should have acquired such knowledge.
