Examples of Vigilance Commissioner in a sentence
Note: OIL has appointed Shri Rajiv Mathur, IPS (Retd.), Shri Jagmohan Garg, Ex- Vigilance Commissioner and Shri Rudhra Gangadharan, IAS(Retd.) as Independent Monitors (IEM) for a period of 03 (three) years to oversee implementation of Integrity Pact in OIL.
If the Monitor has reported to the Chairperson of the Board a substantiated suspicion of an offence under relevant Anti-Corruption Laws of India, and the Chairperson has not, within reasonable time, taken visible action to proceed against such offence or reported it to the Vigilance Office, the Monitor may also transmit this information directly to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Government of India.
The IEMs have been appointed by the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC).

LIC, a substantiated suspicion of an offence under relevant IPC/ PC Act, and the Chairman XXXX has not, within the reasonable time taken visible action to proceed against such offence or reported it to the Chief Vigilance Officer, the Monitor may also transmit this information directly to the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
If the Monitor has reported to the MD & CEO , CANARA BANK, a substantiated suspicion of an offence under relevant IPC / PC Act, and the MD & CEO , CANARA BANK has not, within reasonable time, taken visible action to proceed against such offence or reported it to the Vigilance Office, the Monitor may also transmit this information directly to the Central Vigilance Commissioner, Government of India.
If the Monitor has reported to the CMD, MTNL, a substantiated suspicion of an offence under relevant IPC/PC Act, and the MTNL has not, within the reasonable time taken visible action to proceed against such offence or reported it to the Corporate Vigilance Office, the Monitor may also transmit this information directly to the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
If the IEM has reported to the Director, CMTI, a substantiated suspicion of an offence under relevant IPC/ PC Act, and the Director, CMTI has not, within the reasonable time taken visible action to proceed against such offence or reported it to the Chief Vigilance Officer, the IEM may also transmit this information directly to the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
The present Commission comprises of the Central Vigilance Commissioner and two Vigilance Commissioners.
