Virtual IP or VIP definition
Virtual IP or VIP means an IP address configuration provided to a Customer by F5 which includes an IP address allocated by F5 used to process and transmit traffic to defined Customer origin(s) within its Data Center. The VIPs are used in a Proxy deployment to enable communication from the Internet to Silverline and then to the Customer’s application within their Data Center.
