Virus or Disabling Code definition

Virus or Disabling Code means any defect, device, computer virus, “lockout”, self-help code or other Software code or routine (e.g., back door, time bomb, Trojan horse or worm) that may: (1) disable, restrict use of, lock, erase or otherwise harm Software, Hardware or data (other than (a) passwords and codes which have been provided by one Party to the other Party to permit the use of the applicable Software to provide, or to receive, the Services and (b) code that functions to ensure Software license compliance to the extent Supplier notifies Customer of the specific disabling function of such code, and Customer approves such code prior to its implementation); (2) permit unauthorized monitoring of user behavior (e.g., spyware); or (3) permit any other unauthorized use of Software, Hardware or Customer Data (e.g., allow zombie use of Hardware).

  • If TI becomes aware that a Software Virus or Disabling Code is contained in the Services or any deliverable, TI will immediately notify TELUS and either immediately remove the Software Virus or Disabling Code from the Services or deliverable to the reasonable satisfaction of TELUS or replace the affected Service or deliverable with a materially equivalent Service or deliverable that does not contain a Software Virus or Disabling Code.

Related to Virus or Disabling Code

  • Disabling Code means any virus, back door, timer or other limiting routine, instruction or design, or other malicious, illicit or similar unrequested code that may have the consequence (whether by design or unintentionally) of disrupting, disabling, harming, circumventing security controls or otherwise impeding in any manner the normal operation or performance of (i) any software or service or (ii) any UNICEF information system or network.

  • Disabling Conduct shall have the meaning designated in Section 8.4 hereof.

  • Disabling Devices means undisclosed Software viruses, time bombs, logic bombs, trojan horses, trap doors, back doors, or other computer instructions, intentional devices or techniques that are designed to threaten, infect, assault, vandalize, defraud, disrupt, damage, disable, maliciously encumber, hack into, incapacitate, infiltrate or slow or shut down a computer system or any component of such computer system, including any such device affecting system security or compromising or disclosing user data in an unauthorized manner.

  • Malicious Software means any software program or code intended to destroy, interfere with, corrupt, or cause undesired effects on program files, data or other information, executable code or application software macros, whether or not its operation is immediate or delayed, and whether the malicious software is introduced wilfully, negligently or without knowledge of its existence.

  • Disabling Event means the General Partner ceasing to be the general partner of the Partnership pursuant to Section 17-402 of the Act.
