Vis Maior definition
Vis Maior means any unforeseeable or unavoidable event or the consequences of either, that could not be prevented or mitigated by exercising reasonable foresight, or where the exercise of such foresight and implementation of such measures resulting from such contemplation, could not reasonably have been expected from the Party affected by the event, which directly causes any Party to be unable to comply with all or a material part of its obligations under this Contract.
Vis Maior force majeure or greater, superior, irresistible force or act of God.

Examples of Vis Maior in a sentence
Should a situation occur, which the Party could reasonably consider to constitute Vis Maior, and which could affect fulfilment of its obligations hereunder, such Party shall immediately notify the other Party and shall attempt to continue in its performance hereunder in a reasonable degree.
Mindkét fél valamennyi kötelezettsége teljes mértékben feléled és hatályos az alábbiak ▇▇▇▇▇ a korábbi előfordulásakor: (i) a Vis Maior Esemény elmúlik, vagy (ii) a feltételeknek a Késedelmes Fél általi teljesítése és/vagy az e Szakasz szerinti kötelezettségeinek teljesítése elmarad.
If a situation constituting Vis Maior occurs, the deadlines imposed hereunder shall be extended by the period of the duration of the said Vis Maior event.
