WEB Entry definition

WEB Entry means a “WEB Entry” as defined in the Rules.
WEB Entry means an Internet-initiated Entry used for the origination of Debit Entries (either recurring or single Entry) to a consumer's account pursuant to an authorization obtained from the Receiver via Internet, as more specifically described in the ACH Rules.
WEB Entry means a "Internet initiated Entry" as defined in the Rules.

  • The CLIENT shall retain a record of the authorization for a period of two (2) years from (i) the Settlement Date of a single WEB Entry, and (ii) the termination or revocation of the authorization of a recurring WEB Entry.

  • You have employed a commercially reasonable fraudulent transaction detection system to screen each WEB Entry.

  • A WEB Entry must be based on (i) an authorization that is communicated (but not by oral communication) by the Receiver to you via the Internet or a Wireless Network; or (ii) any form of authorization otherwise permissible under the Rules if the Receiver’s instruction to initiate the individual debit entry is designed by you to be communicated (but not by oral communication) to you via a Wireless Network.

  • The method you employ must not only identify the consumer, but also must demonstrate the consumer’s assent to the WEB Entry authorization.

  • You must obtain the consumer’s authorization prior to initiating a WEB Entry.

  • The Originator has established and implemented commercially reasonable procedures to verify that the routing number used in the debit WEB Entry is valid.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • System Security means the secure state of the Grid achieved when the System Operator acts in accordance with its principal performance obligations in relation to common quality and dispatch that are set out in Part 7 of the Code;

  • Firefighter means any regular, paid or volunteer, member of a lawfully constituted fire department of a municipal corporation, township, fire district, or village.

  • DTMB means the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. “Effective Date” has the meaning set forth in the preamble.
