WHS Requirements definition

WHS Requirements means any and all directions, instructions, requests or requirements relevant to or associated with or necessary for compliance by the Company or Select with WHS Legislation, Select’s management plans identified relating to work health and safety, and any other matters of which the Company has been informed by Select orally or in writing.
WHS Requirements means the requirements set out under the WHS Law, as applicable to DE GREY, a PCBU (as defined in the WHS Law) or any party which is responsible for safety at the Site. Workers means any and all personnel engaged by the Supplier to Deliver the Goods and or perform the Services, regardless of whether they are engaged as an employee or subcontractor.

Examples of WHS Requirements in a sentence

  • The Subcontractor must immediately report any incident relating to workplace health and safety or the environment reportable under the WHS Requirements or the Environmental Requirements to HLL and provide HLL with reasonable assistance in investigating any such incident.

  • The Contractor acknowledges that the Principal is relying on the Contractor’s skill and experience in the Works to perform the Contract safely and in accordance with the WHS Requirements.

  • The Contractor must ensure that the Contractor’s Personnel: are competent and have the necessary skills, qualifications, licences and experience to perform their work safely; understand and will comply with the WHS Requirements when providing the Works.

  • The Contractor warrants that it: has, or will within 30 days of the date of this Contract develop, a health and safety management plan specific to the provision of the Works (HSMP) that complies with WHS Requirements; will maintain and update the HSMP to ensure it is, and remains, fit for purpose over the life of the Contract; and will ensure WHS when providing the Works is managed in accordance with the HSMP and WHS Requirements.

  • The Supplier must immediately report any incident relating to workplace health and safety or the environment reportable under the WHS Requirements or the Environmental Requirements to HLL and provide HLL with reasonable assistance in investigating any such incident.

  • The Principal may, but is not required to, give directions to the Contractor about WHS matters, including a direction to stop providing the Works if the Principal reasonably believes the provision of the Works is unsafe or in breach of the WHS Requirements, and the Contractor and the Contractor’s Personnel must comply with those directions.

  • The Contractor must ensure it has adequate oversight of the Contractor’s Personnel to monitor if they are working safely and in accordance with the WHS Requirements when providing the Works.

Related to WHS Requirements

  • OHS Requirements means all Laws applicable to the Supply and related to occupational health or safety, and all of the City Policies that relate to occupational health or safety, and includes without limitation the WCA;

  • Listings Requirements means the listings requirements of the JSE from time to time;

  • Services Requirements means the requirements of the Authority or any other Contracting Body (as appropriate) for the Services from time to time;

  • JSE Listings Requirements means the Listings Requirements of the JSE applicable from time to time;

  • MREL Requirements means the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities applicable to the Issuer and/or the Group, from time to time, (including any applicable transitional or grandfathering provisions), including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and any regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities adopted by the Federal Republic of Germany or the Republic of Italy, a relevant resolution authority or the European Banking Authority from time to time (whether or not such requirements, guidelines or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Issuer and/or the Group), as any of the preceding laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards, policies or interpretations may be amended, supplemented, superseded or replaced from time to time.
