Withdrawing state definition

Withdrawing state means a state that has, in accordance with Section 21 of the Compact, repealed the Compact.
Withdrawing state means a former compacting state that has either voluntarily withdrawn from the Compact in accordance with Article XIV §1 of the Uniform Law or been terminated from the Compact in accordance with Article XIV §2 of the Uniform Law and § 105 of this Operating Procedure.

  • Participating State means a state electing to participate in the uniform program by entering a base state agreement.

  • Originating state means a state (and the subdivision thereof, if any) whose determination that certain educational personnel are qualified to be employed for specific duties in schools is acceptable in accordance with the terms of a contract made pursuant to article 3.

  • Home state means the member state that is the licensee's primary state of residence.

  • Election judge means a poll worker that is assigned to:

  • Affected state means the State in whose Convention area the wreck is located.

  • Compact commissioner means: the voting representative of each compacting state appointed pursuant to Article VIII of this compact.

  • Deputy Commissioner means the Deputy Commissioner of the district;

  • Commissioners Court means Travis County Commissioners Court.

  • Non-compacting state means any State which is not at the time a Compacting State.

  • Agreement State means any State with which the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission or the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission has entered into an effective agreement under subsection 274b. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (73 Stat. 689).

  • Affected States means all states or local air pollution control agencies whose areas of jurisdiction are:
