Witness Points definition

Witness Points has the meaning given in Section 6.2.3(g) of Schedule 9 [Quality Management].
Witness Points means a critical step in a manufacturing, construction or testing process that is subject to witnessing by Contractor or its authorized representative in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section 18.05(b).
Witness Points. – means those steps in the construction, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or installation process when such procedures or activities may be inspected or witnessed by Company for compliance with Applicable Laws and any other quality requirements in the Agreement.

Examples of Witness Points in a sentence

  • Contractor shall provide Owner access to or copies of these manufacturing and fabrication schedules for Equipment identified in Exhibit Q and the regular updates to these schedules, such that Owner has advance notice of approaching scheduled Witness Points and Hold Points.

  • After review, Owner may identify additional Witness Points and Hold Points and Owner shall notify Contractor of any Owner-designated Witness Points or Hold Points that they shall attend.

  • The rights of access described above are subject to restrictions which may be identified by a Major Subcontractor related to access to proprietary information, additional costs for access beyond routine audits and Witness Points, reasons of national security or access by foreign nationals.

  • Quality assurance and quality control activities at Major Subcontractors shall be limited to participation in scheduled audits and execution of Witness Points identified as the Witness Points and Hold Points in the manufacturing and fabrication plans for the Equipment, such as in-process testing and final product review for acceptance.

  • In cases where Contractor incurs additional cost or delay in the Project Schedule from its Major Subcontractors due to Owner's request to add additional Witness Points and/or Hold Points beyond those identified by Contractor, Contractor shall be entitled to a Change Order pursuant to Article 9.

  • Owner shall be notified in writing by Contractor of Owner-designated Witness Points and Hold Points as soon as practicable but no later than [**] Business Days prior to the scheduled activity.

  • Solely for the components listed in Exhibit Q, after review of the schedules, Owners shall notify Contractor of those Witness Points and Hold Points Owners identify as Owner-designated Witness Points or Owner-designated Hold Points.

  • Contractor shall add the Owner-designated Witness Points and Hold Points to the Project Schedule.

  • If after review of the schedules, Owners add more Witness Points or Hold Points than are identified on the initial manufacturing and fabrication schedules for the components listed in Exhibit Q or add additional components to Exhibit Q, Owners and Contractor shall mutually agree upon those additions, and such added Witness Points and Hold Points shall constitute a Change and entitle Contractor to seek a Change Order pursuant to Article 9.

  • Quality assurance and quality control activities at Major Vendors’ and Appendix B Subcontractors’ premises and working facilities shall be limited to participation in scheduled audits and execution of witness points identified as Witness Points and Hold Points, such as in-process testing and final product review for acceptance.
