Work Directive definition

Work Directive is a written direction from the Designer issued under the terms of this Agreement, directing the Construction Manager to perform Work in the manner specified therein. Issuance of a Work Directive is an acknowledgement that the Construction Manager and the City are not in agreement as to whether the Work has been changed, or the appropriate adjustment to the Guaranteed Maximum Price or Contract Time, if any, associated with the Work Directive.

Work Directive means this "Subcontract", and the terms "Government", "Contracting Office" and equivalent phrases shall mean "ICRC" or an "ICRC representative" respectively unless the function to be performed can only be performed by the Government. It is intended that these incorporated clauses shall apply to Subcontractor in such manner as is necessary to reflect the position of Subcontractor as a subcontractor to ICRC, to insure Subcontractor obligations to ICRC and to the United States Government, and to enable ICRC to meet its obligations under its Prime Contract.
