Examples of Your Spouse in a sentence

  • If You selected individual and Spouse coverage, then You and Your Spouse are covered.

  • If You selected family coverage, then You, Your Spouse and Your Child or Children, as described below, are covered.

  • If You or Your Spouse are enrolled for Dependent Life Insurance and subsequently acquire a new Eligible Dependent, that Dependent will automatically be covered.Note: No eligible person may be covered more than once under the Policy.

  • Newlywed Coverage:If You marry or enter into a civil union or You execute a domestic partner affidavit while covered under The Policy, Your Spouse or party to a civil union or domestic partner shall automatically become covered under The Policy for 31 days of the date of marriage or civil union or domestic partnership.

  • If You, Your Spouse or Child enroll because You gain a Dependent through adoption or placement for adoption, Your coverage will begin on the date of the adoption or placement for adoption.

  • If You, Your Spouse or Child enroll because of a court order, Your coverage will begin on the date the court order is effective.

  • Former Spouse means the individual who is considered by Applicable Laws to be the Annuitant’s former spouse or common-law partner;

  • Surviving Spouse means the widow or widower, as the case may be, of a Deceased Participant or a Deceased Beneficiary (as applicable).

  • primary beneficiary means the individual for whose primary benefit the trust is then held. For purposes of Section 8.3, a Qualified Entity is a member of each Family Group to which such one or more Qualified Trusts that are its equity holders belong.

  • Eligible Spouse means a spouse of an Eligible Retiree who satisfies the requirements for eligibility described in the Eligibility section of this document, or an ex-spouse who is an Eligible Spouse with rights to coverage as an Eligible Spouse pursuant to a court order recognized by SHARP. A Spouse must be married to retiree at least one year prior to the effective date of retirement. A Spouse married after the retiree’s effective retirement date is considered a non-eligible spouse for purposes of the Plan. [See “Spouse”]

  • de facto spouse means a person of the opposite sex to the employee who lives with the employee as the husband or wife of the employee on a bona fide domestic basis, although not legally married to that person.

  • additional spouse means a spouse by the party to the marriage who is additional to the party to the marriage;

  • Designated Beneficiary means the beneficiary or beneficiaries the Participant designates, in a manner the Administrator determines, to receive amounts due or exercise the Participant’s rights if the Participant dies or becomes incapacitated. Without a Participant’s effective designation, “Designated Beneficiary” will mean the Participant’s estate.

  • Income beneficiary means a person to whom net income of a trust is or may be payable.

  • Beneficiary(ies means the individual or individuals designated in the Application by the Subscriber(s) to whom, or on whose behalf, Educational Assistance Payments are agreed to be paid, provided such individual qualifies under the Applicable Legislation and the Plan at the time such payments are made;

  • Community spouse means a spouse of an institutionalized spouse for the purposes of rules 441—75.5(249A), 441—75.16(249A), and 441—76.10(249A).

  • Joint Annuitant means the individual specified as such in the Data Pages. The Joint Annuitant must be the spouse of the Annuitant on the Contract Date.

  • Beneficiary means each designated person, or the estate of the deceased Executive, entitled to benefits, if any, upon the death of the Executive, determined according to Article 4.

  • Contingent Beneficiary is the person that becomes the Beneficiary if the named Beneficiary dies prior to the Income Date.

  • Covered Executive means any “executive officer” of the Company as defined under Rule 10D-1.

  • Eligible Executive means any employee of the Company or an Affiliate of the Company who (i) is designated by the Committee as an “Eligible Executive” who is eligible to participate in the Plan; (ii) has executed and returned a Participation Agreement to the Company; (iii) is not covered under any other severance plan, policy, program or arrangement sponsored or maintained by the Company or any of its Affiliates; and (iv) is not a party to an employment or severance agreement with the Company or any of its Affiliates pursuant to which such employee is eligible for severance payments or benefits. The Committee shall have the sole discretion to determine whether an employee is an Eligible Executive. Eligible Executives shall be limited to a select group of management or highly compensated employees within the meaning of Sections 201, 301 and 401 of ERISA.

  • Qualified beneficiary means a beneficiary who, on the date the beneficiary's qualification is determined:

  • Annuitant means a person who receives a retirement allowance or a disability allowance;

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.

  • Refund beneficiary means an individual nominated by a qualified participant or a former qualified participant under section 66 to receive a distribution of the participant's accumulated balance in the manner prescribed in section 67.

  • Covered Executives means the Company’s current and former executive officers, as determined by the Administrator in accordance with the definition of executive officer set forth in Rule 10D-1 and the Listing Standards.

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • wife shall be known as a "Spouse," and when mentioned together, the Husband and Wife shall be known as the "Couple."

  • Contingent Annuitant is the natural person who becomes the Annuitant if the Annuitant dies prior to the Income Date.
