Data Protection Regulation any law or regulation relating to personal data, and in particular French law. Data Protection Regulation means the EU data protection legislation and, insofar as it is applicable, the legislation of any other country in terms of the protection of data or private life (including, but not being limited to, the EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in terms of the processing of their personal data and the free circulation of this data, and amending Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”)), such as transposed into the national legislation of each Member State and such as periodically amended, replaced or substituted, including by the GDPR and the laws implementing, completing or replacing the GDPR. 1.21 “ANSYS Professional Services” means the Consultancy Services and Training Services that are provided by ANSYS to the Client under the Contract as exhaustively described in the SOW 1.21.1.
