Quality requirements. Legrand Zrt’s representatives periodically check, measure and give their opinion on the Contractor’s performance. Performance is based on the relevant call to tender, the quotation accepted by Legrand Zrt., and the requirements, specifications, and documents presented at the preliminary on-site consultations. In the event of a deviance in quality, at the time of reporting completion, Legrand Zrt’s designated expert shall draw up a written protocol before witnesses, and indicate any visible defects therein. After that – where necessary due to the defective performance – Legrand Zrt. will notify the Contractor within 5 (five) business days, listing the defects in detail, and, if in-person consultation is necessary, the Parties shall agree regarding the correction of or compensation for the defects. In the absence of appropriate performance, Legrand Zrt. shall be entitled to refuse to accept the work, and/or withhold part of the contractor’s fee proportionate to the contested performance until it is corrected or compensation is provided for it. The Contractor and Legrand Zrt. shall continuously cooperate in order to prevent defects and to repair quality.
