THE PROCEDURE. (1) On 11 June 2021, Hungary pre-notified to the Commission its intention to grant regional aid (‘the measure’) in favour of Rubin NewCo 2021 Kft. (‘the beneficiary’ or ‘Rubin’) for the setting-up of a new establishment for production of automotive components in Miskolc, Hungary (‘the Investment Project’). On 30 June 2021, a virtual meeting took place between the Commission services, the Hungarian authorities and representatives of the beneficiary. On 23 July 2021, the Commission requested supplementary information, which Hungary submitted on 27 August 2021. On 21 September 2021, a second virtual meeting took place between the Commission services, the Hungarian authorities and representatives of the beneficiary. On 30 September 2021, the Commission requested supplementary information, which Hungary submitted with the notification.
