1. La Direzione per gli Armamenti Aeronautici e per l’Aeronavigabilità’ ha reso noto che sono stati riaperti i termini per la presentazione di candidature per la posizione1 a “status internazionale” n. 1111 di “Configuration Management Assistant2” inserita nella “General Systems, Product Evolution Section” nell’ambito della Systems Division presso l’Agenzia in oggetto, valutata d’interesse Difesa con il foglio a seguito in b.
2. Le candidature, corredate dalla scheda biografica in lingua italiana e dal “Application Form” in lingua inglese, in originale con firma autografa (formato PDF), in ragione dei successivi adempimenti per la loro formalizzazione, dovranno pervenire3 allo Stato Maggiore della Difesa entro il 22 marzo 2023 esclusivamente dagli Organi d’Impiego di Forza Armata.
3. La durata del mandato è di tre anni a partire dal 1° luglio 2023, mentre la data dell’intervista di selezione (con oneri a carico della NAHEMA) non è stata ancora definita.

1. Summary
The Configuration Management Assistant carries out support tasks related to Configuration Management (CM) for serial NH90 aircraft (variants or individual helicopters) during the Production Investment, Production and In-Service phases as directed by the Manager Configuration Management, Product Evolution (CMPE).
2. Qualifications and Experience Essential
Background in complex items Configuration Management, preferably for aeronautical systems.
Basic knowledge in aeronautical engineering.
Familiarity with the maintenance and/or operation of aeronautical systems, preferably helicopters.
Familiarity with the procurement of complex Weapon Systems, preferably aeronautical systems.
Ability to minute international meetings.
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relations at all levels in a multinational working environment.
Ability to adapt to a changing, developing and demanding business environment.
Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications and communication via e-mail.
Fluency or Good level in speaking, writing and reading English.
NATO SECRET Security clearance.
Desirable
Good knowledge of the NH90 program (technologies, logistics concept and procedures).
Basic knowledge in programme management area and practices, such as risk, testing and evaluation, qualification and certification, production and delivery.
Experience in working as Customer with Industry.
3. Main Accountabilities
The incumbent of this post is responsible to the Manager Configuration Management, Product Evolution for the proper execution of the following tasks:
day-to-day operation of processing, retrieving and archiving information related to NH90 configuration management activities;
contributing to the internal and external coordination of all activities related to Change Requests (CR), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Modification Proposals (MP) applicable to NFH and TTH variants, and their configuration composed of hardware, software and associated documentation items;
contributing to the elaboration, maintenance and update of a “CM database” containing all relevant information concerning the purpose, content, cost and status of all CR, ECP and MP applicable to all helicopter variants and systems, including helicopter interfaces to Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and/or Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) installation, as well as production means (as needed) and ensuring its continuous updating;
contributing to the configuration status reporting;
supporting and providing advice within the Project Organization to the Project Managers in coordination with the CMPE;
supporting and providing advice to achieve increased commonality between different NH90 variants (NFH and TTH) in coordination with the CMPE;
executing formal checks of documentation in the context of Configuration Management;
executing and monitoring the information flow towards Nations (NAHEMO and Community, as applicable) and Industry;
organizing and preparing CM meetings in coordination with CMPE;
participating in Configuration Management Working Group (CMWG) meetings as secretary;
participating in the Future Capability Working Group (FCWG) meetings as support personnel;
contributing in the preparation of presentations, meeting minutes, reports or plans, as appropriate;
cooperating with other staff members in order to ensure consistency with other programme activities and compliance with the overall programme contractual obligations, in particular in the area of Production, Support and Obsolescence Management;
performing any other duties for the benefit of the programme, within the frame of his/her competencies, as required by his/her hierarchical superiors.
4. Interrelationship
The incumbent reports to the Manager Configuration Management, Product Evolution.
5. Contract
The Applicant has to be seconded from the national administration of one of NAHEMO Nations.
According to the NAHEMO Charter, the applicant will be offered a 3-year definite duration contract, which may be renewed for a further period of up to 2 years subject on General Manager decision/proposal and also to the agreement of the National Authority concerned. The maximum period of service in the post as a seconded staff member is five years (3+1+1).
The contract offered will be in accordance with the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations.
6. Additional Information
Appointment will be subject to receipt of a security clearance (provided by the national Authorities of the selected candidate) and approval of the candidate’s medical file by the national Authorities.
NAHEMA can only accept seconded applicants from nationals of NAHEMO countries.
